A loss from years ago that is still painful
If feelings of sadness, anger, guilt, confusion, and feelings of isolation or emptiness are interfering with your daily life after a loss — you are human. Sitting with pain and discomfort isn’t easy, but the more we feel the emotions that accompany grief, the more we can make sense of what it is that we value and how we want to mourn.
I work with people who are struggling with grief or those who are anticipating a loss. Our reactions to grief are often shaped by how we’ve coped with previous losses, and exploring these patterns in therapy can illuminate what truly matters to us. My goal is to help you understand the full scope of your grief, enabling you to identify what you need to live a fulfilling life.
Whether you're facing a recent loss or processing feelings from years ago, it’s never too late to process your grief.
How I Work
Navigating grief and loss can be overwhelming, making the right support essential. My relational psychoanalytic approach focuses on how your past and unconscious influences shape your experience of loss. Together, we’ll unpack complex emotions, clarify what matters most to you, and examine how our therapeutic relationship reflects important connections in your life. This process promotes self-awareness and equips you with effective coping strategies. Psychoanalytic therapy is evidence-based and client-led, fostering lasting change. If you’re interested in exploring this approach, please reach out to discuss your situation in more detail.
